American Society of Civil Engineers
The student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers at the Milwaukee School of Engineering consists of a group of dedicated students who come together to solve the problems proposed by ASCE each year. The theory that is taught in lectures and the knowledge that is gained during labs is put into practice at MSOE through organizations such as ASCE. This exemplifies MSOE's tradition of educating students through experience and the real world application of the curriculum.
Annually, students are given a proposal by ASCE for a concrete canoe and a steel bridge. The teams then design, test, and fabricate all parts of the structure. For more information please refer to the tabs at the left of the page.
